The Fiat 1300 and Fiat 1500 are cars manufactured from 1961 to 1967 by the Italian car manufacturer Fiat. They replaced the Fiat 1400 and Fiat 1200 coupe, spyder and cabriolet. The 1300 and 1500 were essentially identical except for their engine specification, as indicated by their model names. They were available as a sedan and station wagon, but also as cabriolet and coupé models that shared little mechanical with the other body styles except the 1500 engine.
The engine of the car in combination with its lightweight construction was unusual at the time, especially when it came to price. Front wheels were equipped with disc brakes with four-pot calipers while rear brakes were light metal drums.
This specific item is a Fiat 1500 built in 1963.
This Fiat can rightfully be called a real barn find.
A car that was optically refurbished years ago by the former owner.
The paintwork has already been renewed. Technically, the car now needs some attention, because the Fiat has stood still in recent years. (Often in a barn find).
At this moment the engine is running and you can drive, brake and change gears with the car as it is often called in the market. Keep in mind, however, that this car is not yet ready to hit the road immediately.
Nevertheless, a very nice classic car which you can now buy at a competitive price. Given the total, it is definitely worth the effort to prepare this classic Italian for the season.
